You can now book a South African safari through Uber for $200. This fee covers a wildlife excursion for up to four people, providing an exciting experience in Cape Town. The offer is part of Uber’s Go Anywhere program, in partnership with the Aquila Private Game Reserve.

Booking is done by opening the Uber app and selecting the Uber Safari icon. From there, choose a date and your pickup and drop-off locations. You’ll receive a confirmation email, and bookings can be made between 90 days and 24 hours in advance. However, this feature is only visible to users in South Africa.

The trip begins in Cape Town, with riders boarding a safari-branded Uber. After a two-hour drive to Aquila Private Game Reserve, guests enjoy lunch and a welcome toast before embarking on the safari. Rangers will guide the tour in a traditional safari vehicle, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, and more.

Johan van Schalkwyk of Aquila Collection praised the collaboration, saying it offers a luxurious and easy way to see South Africa’s Big 5 animals. He added that this experience supports wildlife conservation, crucial to preserving biodiversity.

The Uber Safari is available until January 25, 2025, and trips are limited to Fridays and Saturdays.

Aside from booking an Uber for your South African safari adventure, consider driving in South Africa to see the rest of the beautiful country. Go on a two-week road trip that will let you savor scenic drives and immerse in other enriching experiences.
