Thailand’s Capella Bangkok Named Best Hotel in the World for 2024

Capella Bangkok has been named the best hotel in the world for 2024. The luxurious hotel, located in the heart of Bangkok, took the top spot on The World’s 50 Best Hotels list, an annual ranking by The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy.

Known for its river-facing architecture and top-tier spa, Capella Bangkok jumped ten places from its 2023 ranking, cementing itself as a world-class hotel.

Opened in 2020, Capella features 101 rooms, all with stunning views of the Chao Phraya River. The hotel’s highlights include riverside villas with private plunge pools and award-winning dining options. One standout is Côte by Mauro Colagreco, a Michelin-starred French-Italian restaurant.

The hotel also offers unique experiences through its “Capella Culturists”—personal guides who help guests connect with Bangkok’s cultural offerings.
