Discover Georgia: Ancient Churches and Soaring Peaks

Nestled between powerful neighbors lies Georgia, where ancient silk caravans once threaded through valleys. Though modest in size, this country carries a legacy as one of Christianity's earliest adopters. Its landscape is dotted with UNESCO-protected cathedrals and monasteries that have served as centers of faith through the centuries. Towering over Georgia's sacred sites, the Great Caucasus – Europe's highest mountains – calls adventurers and nature lovers to include it in their travel plans.

The city is a very laid back and historical city. There are many historical buildings there's a sulfur bath, a cable car to go up to the top of the mountain, a glass bridge and a river running through it. The city is very safe and city is lots of shops restaurants, many different color roses for sale I don't know if they are grown in Georgia or not but this is something you will see at many shops. Moreover, its has the best tasting food in all of Europe.

The views were spectacular! On the way up try for the seats at the very bottom, they have the best view. It's a short ride to the top, there are two stops, the first one is just to go to a church on the mountainside, and the second and final stop is the main one. It costs about $30 (USD) for a family of 4 there and back, and at the top, there are rides, little stands with different food and drinks, and rides. We went on a Monday, and it was not busy at all. The Cafe was affordable, 5.00 Lari for an ice cream, 10.00 for a mousse, and 41.00 for a bottle of sparkling wine. There are many different items, Coffee, Drinks, Wine, Desserts, and some sandwiched salads and two pizzas. Very fun visit in all.

Gorgeous location of the Botanical Gardens with views of Batumi and the sea! The territory is large, it takes at least 2-3 hours to walk leisurely. There are many panoramic platforms and benches for rest. I used the services of an electric car to return to the main entrance, I recommend it! The driver told me so many interesting things along the way! A must-see visiting on a trip to Batumi.

On the Batumi Quay and in the surrounding quarters it is quite impossible to walk) Magnificent views of the bay and the city, comfort and coziness. You can have breakfast and drink pomegranate juice) A sea walk along the city is absolutely necessary to see the city, even the snowy mountains on the horizon. Ali and Nino deserve separate attention. This miracle must be seen. That's very touching... I liked watching her move during the day better. In the evening, the lighting brings a smile and a very different experience)

Beautiful pedestrian bridge that was completed in 2010, 150 meters long and that connects the old and the new town! When you are there, take a photo and cross it! In the evening you light up very nicely. On the left side of the bridge there is a very nice cafe with nice sweets.
