World-Class Hospitality Comes to Agra, India with Novotel’s 2029 Launch

Accor is bringing its renowned Novotel brand to Agra, marking a milestone in the city’s hospitality landscape. Set to open in 2029, Novotel Agra Fatehabad Road will offer a seamless blend of business and leisure in the heart of India’s iconic city, home to the Taj Mahal.

Covering 13,000 square meters, the property will house 275 carefully designed rooms, each beginning at 28 square meters, offering comfort and functionality. Guests can also expect a welcoming atmosphere tailored for both families and business travelers, with every element reflecting Novotel’s commitment to balance, flexibility, and purposeful living.

The hotel promises exceptional dining experiences, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a lively bar. With 2,000 square meters of versatile banqueting space, it’s also poised to become a prime destination for social and corporate events. Additional amenities, such as a swimming pool, a modern fitness center, and ample parking, ensure every guest’s needs are met with ease.

Crystal Vista Ventures LLP, led by the Goyal family, spearheads the project. Their legacy in Agra’s hospitality sector includes properties like the Grand Mercure Agra and Crystal Inn Agra. The partnership with Accor underscores a shared vision to enhance Agra’s tourism offerings.

Aniruddh Kumar, Accor's Vice President of Development for India and South Asia, emphasized the importance of the project, stating that Agra's rich cultural heritage and strong tourism appeal make it an ideal location for Novotel’s approach to balanced living. The sentiment was echoed by Laxman Das Goyal, who emphasized the project’s contribution to the city’s thriving tourism industry.

Novotel operates over 590 hotels globally and maintains a robust pipeline of 160+ properties under development. The brand’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its partnership with WWF, focusing on ocean conservation.
