Asia’s Biggest Hard Rock Hotel to Open in Malaysia’s Genting Highlands by 2027

Asia’s largest Hard Rock Hotel is set to open its doors in 2027 at King’s Park, Genting Highlands, Malaysia. This highly anticipated hotel will mark Malaysia’s third Hard Rock location, following Penang and Desaru Coast, Johor.

The project was confirmed last October through a partnership between HR Hotel & Residences Sdn Bhd and Hard Rock International. Positioned at an altitude of 1,000 meters, the new hotel will stand as a beacon of luxury and entertainment in King’s Park.

Guests can look forward to 1,001 rooms and suites, and a 200-square-meter Rock Shop that will offer exclusive merchandise. There will also be a heated pool and the popular Rock Spa for relaxation. Dining options will include multiple restaurants, and a chic bar will cater to night owls.

King’s Park, a 61-hectare development, is set to become Genting Highland’s first central business district. The RM10 billion project will also feature branded theme parks, a halal boutique hotel, and the world’s largest terrarium.

By 2028, the park will also introduce Malaysia’s first Swissotel, adding even more luxury accommodations to the area.
