We found ourselves in a difficult situation when we tried to pick up our rental car in Crete. Apparently Greece requires you to have an international drivers license, which has never happened to us before (we had just rented without one on Malta). Long story short, we were able to get the international license online through International Drivers Association in one day. We had a few uploading problems But the help desk was wonderfully responsive and it was got everything resolved. Our vacation has been saved!!!

Off to work on an international project, and the days are diminishing, and no time to get to Triple AAA to get my International Driver’s License. If you are planning to get one…STOP NOW, get online internationaldriversassociation (all one word, add www and .com)and let the next 15 minutes blow you away. Have a selfie, and a picture of the front and back of your license, and your credit card ready…….it is fast, efficient , and I had mine within 5 minutes of submitting. This was a huge relief, as I cannot afford to be out the office trying to handle all my last minute errands….and this saved me hours. Thank you so much to the IDA!!!! Well done!

We did not realize until the very last second that we needed an International Driver’s Permit to rent/drive a car in Italy! Found the International Driver’s Association website and chose the expedited service. Even though I had trouble uploading the required pictures and documents online, I immediately got an email stating there was a problem, and I was able to submit the pictures via email. I had my IDP within 30 minutes. Couldn’t be happier.

In haste of my vacation preparation I had overlooked driving privileges outside of the US. and at the last minute realized that i needed an International Driving Permit. The whole process of application and downloading documents took less than 30 minutes to complete. I recommend Sarah Mcfee (International Drivers Association) if ever you are required to get this permit!

Mike, traveling to Italy..

On the train in Italy from Rome to Nepal, we decided to rent a car and drive down to Capri. I submitted for the drivers license translation and within the hour I had the translation needed to rent a vehicle. Their quick communication, speed of delivery, and quality of work is amazing!

I just applied this, an hour ago…., and now I’ve already got my Digital International Driving licence.
They said that I’ve to wait for about 6 hours, but….they lied. Less than an hour I got it.
Now I’m waiting for the copy of the printed ID and Booklet.

I booked a holiday in USA with a camper van and applied for the International licence. The process was simple and quick with an immediate response. This agency told me I just need a printed License , but the car rental in dubai which was Europcar told me they only acept original license! So I needed to upgrade my service and get an express shipping to get the original document. Quick response! Make sure to ask your car rental agency If they accept a digital document or original before buying

I had some problem to charge my documents on the website after the payment. I had to repeat the transaction twice. Anyway, I wrote to them and at the end of the day they have fixed my problem.

When I learned that I’ll need to show an International Driving Permit on short notice, I was uncertain how much trouble it would be and whether it would even be possible.
