Can tourists drive in Fiji?

Tourists can drive in Fiji as long as they have an International Driving Permit. This is a document that translates their valid driver’s license into 12 of the widely used languages worldwide.

Do you need an International Drivers License in Fiji?

Although not required, it is highly recommended to get one to drive in another foreign country using your valid driving license. Whether your driver’s license is in English or not, local authorities may not be familiar with the language, and will need a supporting document which translates all your driver information on your license.

How do I get a driving Licence in Fiji?

When getting a driving license in the country, you’ll need to enroll in a driving school and take a driving test or written exam to drive there. However, if you are only planning on driving in the country for less than three months, you only need your International Driving Permit to do this.

Garden of Sleeping Giant in Nadi

This garden has 30-40 kinds of Asian orchids and beautiful flowers. Garden of Sleeping Giant was founded in 1977 by the late actor Raymond Burr and was once a private collection of gardens with over 2,000 orchids. Explore this amazing and serene place in Fiji.

Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple in Nadi

One of the famous Hindu temples can be found here at the southern end of the main road in Nadi, Fiji. Ramaswami Pillai established this largest Hindu temple and this rainbow-hued temple in the Southern hemisphere in 1913. Sri Siva Subramaniya temple is known for its resplendent carvings, Dravidian designs, and colorful celebrations that draw devotees and tourists to visit the temple every day.

The main statue deity is Lord Subramanya Swamy is extraordinarily carved and brought from South India. Artists traveled from India to paint the temple and complete the colorful ceiling frescoes. Biausevu Waterfall in Viti Levu

Beqa Lagoon in Viti Levu
