Triple Bridge

The center of the three bridges was built in 1942, replacing an old wooden bridge. Then the side bridges were added in 1929 intended for pedestrians.

Postojna Cave

Postojna Cave is a million-year-old cave that runs a spectacular 24km long. The accessible area is only 6km from the whole cave. Another historic thing about the Postojna Cave is that it is the first and only underground train of its kind in the whole world.

Exploring the cave will let your eyes witness the beauty and an endless number of natural formations. The tour inside the cave will last up to 90 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes as the weather inside the cave is cold all throughout the year.

Avoid visiting the cave during the months of June, July, and August. These months are when the cave gets crowded the most. Also, if you want to avoid large crowds in the cave, come to the place at an early time of the day.

Predjama Castle

Dubbed as a unique fairytale castle, Predjama castle is a Renaissance castle built on top of a 123-meter high cliff. It is located in Prejama village, which is 11km away from the Postojna Cave. It was first built in the 12th century but what is shown up to this day is mostly from the 16th century.

The castle now serves as a museum that exhibits the life in the 16th century. With dungeons, living quarters, halls, and other castle facilities, it is one of the most visited tourist spots of Slovenia. You can stroll around and discover more about Slovenia inside the castle.
